TEST CASE O-RINGS

Test Motor Cases require two different size O-Rings. The thick O-Ring shown is to seal the Nozzle at the Aft Closure. The thin O-Ring fits in the Forward Closure and seals when threaded on the case itself.
Your best buy are the Buna-N type. They are black rubber and hold up well over several firings. There is no need to pay more for silicon or others. In this application the Buna-N are excellent.
They are readily available through McMaster Carr and their part numbers are given along with their 3 digit AS568A Dash Number.

It goes without saying where the Nozzle O-Ring fits on the nozzle, however the forward closure O-Ring needs defined. The diagram shows the position of the forward Closure O-Ring that forms a tight seal. Be sure to lube well for O-Ring protection.
